Prince Sultan Center for Defense Studies and Research signed several research contracts with Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University at the Center's headquarters in Riyadh, supported and enabled by the General Authority for Defense Development (GADD), aiming to enhance cooperation with Saudi universities and support scientific research.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by the Director General of the Center, Dr. Saud bin Saeed, and the University Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Nayef Al-Otaibi. The two parties were represented by Dr. Mohammad Al-Kanhal, Assistant Director General for Scientific and Technical Affairs at the Center, and Dr. Salem Al-Yami, Dean of Scientific Research at the University.

Dr. Saud bin Saeed emphasized the Center's commitment to enhancing partnership and cooperation with national academic institutions and universities, aligned with the directives of the General Authority for Defense Development (GADD), which seeks through the Center to deep-root and acquire defense technologies while qualifying specialized human capital in the defense development sector.

Through consolidating its relationships with academic and research institutions, the Center aims to support and stimulate research momentum, and build distinguished national capabilities, in accordance with its mission to contribute to creating a stimulating national environment for conducting qualitative research, exchanging knowledge and expertise with relevant entities, and building research and technical collaboration ties with leading entities to transfer and localize advanced defense technologies.
